This page explains what information we collect when you visit agdmarine.com, apply for a job, or send us a project inquiry — and what we do with it. We've kept it short and in plain English.
Mobile Information and SMS Messaging
Atlantic & Gulf Dredging & Marine, LLC operates an internal-employee-only SMS messaging program. Mobile information collected for this program is used solely to deliver operational alerts to enrolled AGDM employees.

From AGDM personnel enrolled in SMS alerts
- Mobile phone number (provided in writing by the employee or authorized contractor for inclusion in the internal compliance alert system — see our SMS Consent disclosure)
From the employee shift sign-in / timeclock and safety sign-in (employees)
- Your clock-in and clock-out times, recorded when you tap a sign-in link we text you
- Your device's location (GPS coordinates and accuracy) captured only at the moment you sign in or out — we do not track your location continuously — plus the calculated distance from the job site

- Photos or scans of the identity and work-authorization document(s) you choose to provide for Form I-9
- Direct-deposit details (bank routing/account number and a voided check) if you elect direct deposit

From registered vendors
- Company and contact details, the services you offer, and your service area
- Your IRS Form W-9 and Employer Identification Number (EIN), and any rate sheet you upload
From the contact form
- Your name, company, email, phone, and message — plus the IP address and browser the submission came from, used to prevent spam and abuse
From calls to our business line
- Your phone number and, if you leave a voicemail, the recording and an automated text transcription of it. Live calls that connect to a person are not recorded.
3. How we use it
- Career applications — to evaluate you for employment and reach out to you about it.
- Lead submissions — to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and communicate with you about a possible project.
- SMS alerts — mobile phone numbers provided by enrolled personnel are used solely to deliver compliance event notifications described in our SMS Consent disclosure. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Opting out of texts never affects your pay — tell the office and they will record your time for you.
- Timeclock & safety sign-in records — used to pay you accurately (including federally required certified payroll on government contracts), to verify sign-ins happen at the job site, to document daily safety briefings, and to respond to and record workplace injuries as OSHA requires. These are employment records required by federal law (29 CFR Part 516, 29 CFR Part 1904, FAR 4.703).
- Analytics — to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Ad measurement — to see which marketing efforts are bringing in qualified leads.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we use to run the site and our business:
- Google Firebase — stores form submissions and uploaded resumes
- Resend — delivers email notifications to us
- VirusTotal — scans uploaded resumes for malware
- Google Analytics — site usage analytics
- Google Ads — ad performance and conversion tracking
- Twilio — delivers our SMS alerts and powers our business phone line and voicemail
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI reading and auto-fill of scanned onboarding documents, and AI handling of phone-line speech; access-gated and, under our commercial terms, not used to train AI models
We don't sell your personal information, and we share it only with the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf to run our business.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS data: No mobile information — including phone numbers, message content, or SMS opt-in data — is shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances. Mobile numbers are used to deliver the SMS alerts described in our SMS Consent disclosure, to text a caller back after a missed call or send a link they requested, and to verify identity during onboarding and crew sign-in. Twilio processes them only to the extent required to deliver those messages.
5. How long we keep it
We aim to keep each type of record only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — email info@agdmarine.com and we'll take care of it. As general target periods:
- Resumes — generally up to about 12 months from when you submit them.
- Lead submissions — generally up to about 24 months from our last contact with you.
- Onboarding & tax records (W-4, I-9, direct-deposit info, ID images) — kept at least for the periods required by the IRS and USCIS (generally, the I-9 until the later of three years after hire or one year after employment ends, and payroll/tax records about four years).
- Vendor W-9 / EIN and uploads — generally kept for about four years after our last business with you.
- Timeclock, payroll & sign-in records (clock-in/out times, punch-moment location, attestations) — kept for the periods federal law requires (29 CFR 516.5–.6; FAR 4.703), then automatically deleted: sign-in links after 90 days, time records after 4 years, certified payroll worksheets after 7 years.
- Injury-related records (end-of-shift injury reports, safety sign-ins tied to an incident) — kept at least 5 years following the year they relate to (29 CFR 1904.33), then automatically deleted after 6 years.
- Voicemail recordings & transcripts — kept for a limited period (generally about 90–180 days); email info@agdmarine.com to have a message deleted sooner.
- Analytics data — retained according to Google's default settings.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we have on you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@agdmarine.com and we'll take care of it.
One exception: records federal law requires us to keep — payroll, time, tax, I-9, and injury records — can't be deleted before their required retention periods end (see section 5). We'll tell you if your request touches one of those, and delete it when the law allows.
7. California and EU residents
If you live in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we hold, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of any sale of your personal information. We don't sell personal information, but you can still exercise these rights by contacting us.
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to processing. To exercise any of these, email info@agdmarine.com.
8. Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Cookies
We use cookies for two things: Google Analytics (to understand how people use the site) and Google Ads conversion tracking (to measure which ads bring in leads). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.
10. Updates to this policy
If we change anything here, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be reflected in the new policy on this page — there's no separate notification.
